Why Choose a Dedicated Car Service Over Ride-Sharing Apps for Major Events?
Planning to use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft for a big event? Here's what you need to know before making your decision:
Ride-Sharing Challenges Near Event Venues
Geofencing Restrictions: Security perimeters often block ride-sharing apps from operating inside the area. You'll need to leave the perimeter to find a pickup location.
Long Wait Times: Even after reaching a pickup spot, ride-share cars are likely to be in high demand, leading to frustratingly long waits.
Skyrocketing Prices: Events often trigger surge pricing. During the last inauguration in DC, ride-share rates were double what we charge for short-distance trips. It even made headlines for how outrageously expensive it was!
The Smart Solution: Our Dedicated Car Service
Why deal with the hassle when you can have a stress-free experience with us? Here's why our service is a better choice:
Effortless Convenience: A dedicated driver will be waiting for you, minimizing delays and eliminating the need to navigate geofenced areas.

Predictable Costs: No surprise surcharges, even during high-demand events.
Efficient Pickup: Our drivers will get as close as possible to pick you up, saving you unnecessary walking or waiting.
Weather-Proof Experience: Avoid the misery of waiting outside in the cold or rain.

Pass In Review (Inaugural Parade): After the conclusion of the inaugural ceremonies and the luncheon at the United States Capitol, the newly-sworn president and vice president will make their way to the East Front steps of the Capitol where they will review military troops before leading a procession of ceremonial military regiments, citizens’ groups, marching bands, and floats down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House. The President, Vice President, their spouses, and special guests will then watch the parade as it passes in front of the Presidential Reviewing Stand.
After being sworn in, the president typically goes on a ceremonial parade down Pennsylvania Avenue from the U.S. Capitol to the White House.
In the past, the parade has begun at approximately 3 p.m. on Inauguration Day. Thousands of spectators line up along Pennsylvania Avenue during the parade. A limited number of bleacher seats can usually be reserved through the Presidential Inaugural Committee, though viewing from the sidewalk is free and unreserved.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee highly recommends enjoying the televised parade from home this year.
